Week 34

Hey there, miss thang!

This is a note from your Mommy. Please keep growing, but try not to smoosh your feet into my diaphragm. I need to use that too!

But really, Cordy, we're very happy. Mommy was given an award for being in the top 25% of the company. Daddy is losing weight and feeling good!

You are at the 70th percentile for weight, and you're head down, facing Mommy's back. How can we tell? We can feel your butt putting pressure on Mommy's belly, and your feet pushing up into Mommy's diaphragm (the muscle we use to breathe).

Bradley classes are going well, Mommy is keeping track of her diet so we can get you good foods that will help you keep strong. We are also learning how to relaaaax so when it's time for you to be born we won't need any medicine. Because having a baby hurts. But you are WORTH IT!

Keep growing in there, and don't come out until Halloween is over, ok?

Love,
Your Mommy and Daddy

Week 32

pregnancy

Helloooo, Baby Cordy!
We have been very busy. Saturday was 6 hours of childbirth class. Sunday was pictures! Monday was a check-up with Dr. Murray (he says you are doing great). Tuesday we met Dr. McKenna, who will be your pediatrician. PHEW!
Then today is your 32 week point! Woo-hoo!

What's that? You want to see the pictures? Ok...here's one. ^^

We are waiting for the lion's share to be finished, but Miss Lisa did a BEAUTIFUL job so far! =D

Mommy is going to go feed her belly, which will make both of us happy.

We love you!!!

Week 31

pregnant

Miss Cordy, you weigh 4 lbs and 3 oz today! You're 16.9 inches long and your femur measures the same as the average 32 week old. ^^ Miss Hilda who did your ultrasound said you have wide feet, which is like your Daddy. You were practicing breathing today, we also saw you purse your lips and sip, sip, sip on your fluid, which should have a taste of kielbasa, green pepper, carrots, grapes, and cherries (Mommy's lunch).

We are happy to tell you that your placenta is 8 inches away from the cervix (the place in Mommy's tummy you will squeeze through) and you will be born with no medicines. =D

That being said, Mommy is praying for struggles in our family with Aunt Wendy's cancer making it hard to get the surgery she needs. Sad things can happen in our lives, but God will take care of us, even when it is hard. Just like we will take care of you.

Love,
Your Mommy and Daddy
